Too Faced - Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer

Hey guys! So I'm sorry that my posts have been a little infrequent recently but I have been super busy with my new placement so I haven't really had the time to keep up to date. I promise I will try and be better!

So for todays post I have a review of one of my September favourites, which also happened to be a cheeky after birthday treat that I couldn't really afford but couldn't resist. It is the Chocolate Soleil Bronzing Powder from Too Faced.

Now for a long time I have been a lover of all things Too Faced… but I have been a lover from a distance because I just didn't have the money to buy any of the products, which was sad but understandable. So when I had a little birthday money this year I decided to splash out and treat myself. I managed to get this from ASOS in the sale which made me feel a bit better about parting with my cash! And I am so glad I did buy it!

The first thing you have to admit is beautiful is the packaging. It is a little hard to open sometimes with makeup fingers, but you can forgive that when it looks so darn cute. How gorgeous is all the detailing on the top?! Even the outer packaging is stunningly simple whilst looking elegant. I would be proud to have designed something like this is my design career.

Next is the smell…. Now a lot of people I have let (made) smell this have said it smells like caramel but I think they are bonkers. To me this smell exactly like the Galaxy Hot Chocolate sachets which are my favourite thing ever for winter. So this essentially is my perfect Autumn and Winter bronzer.

Picture is more yellow than in real life.

Lastly is the product use. This is without a doubt the best bronzer I have ever used, mostly because it a subtle cool 'chocolate' colour that is perfect for my skin tone. The bit I love about the subtly is that because I only use bronzer for contouring, I can layer it up without having to worry that I will look ridiculous and end up putting on too much. It also gives a much more natural look than the Rimmel Sun Bronze I was using.

Super subtle but so buildable

Overally I absolutely love this and so far it looks like I haven't even dented it yet so I know this will last a while. The only downside I can see from this so far is the price. I wish Too Faced was more affordable, but when they much such amazing products (as far as I can see and tell) then why would they ever be worth less.

If you want to get this bronzer head over to the link here to get it from ASOS.

Let me know what products you have tried from Too Faced and what you would recommend for me to try!

Stay tuned from my latest mani.

Peace.

  1. I'll be honest, I have never actually heard of Too Faced - I'm not really up to date with make-up trends, I tend to get what ever is on offer in Superdrug :p. I'm gradually starting to get more interested in make-up though, so I will definitely have to bare this make in mind. You have tempted me with your review :) xx
