Quiz Dress Your Nails Competition

Hey guys! So today I have a pretty exciting post for you. I was recently contacting by a lovely lady from Quiz who invited me to take part in a nail art competition where you are inspired by one of their dresses! So of course I had to take a shot and I am going to show you the nails I created.

There were so many nice dresses on their website that it took me ages to find just one that I wanted to turn into nails as I had so many ideas buzzing around my head!

I chose this wonderful Black and Silver Lace cut out dress which you can checkout here, as I had the perfect stamping plate to create the look.

To start I obviously did a base coat and then 2 coats of my black nail polish which was Collection 2000 lasting gel finish in black… you can use whatever black polish you have! Then when that was totally dry I simply began stamping on top using Rimmel - Your Majesty which is a gorgeous silver. The stamping plate was from Born Pretty Store but there are tons out their that are super cheap and will have similar lace patterns.

To stamp I simply put some nail polish on the plate, drag it across the image, pick it up with my stamper and roll across my nails.

After clean up I decided to add some hand painted mini flowers to the more bare areas and then a little glitter topcoat by Seventeen. TA DAHH after that all I did was lock it all in with my Seche Vite and I'm done! Super simple but super effective!

I am so gutted that my camera hasn't been able to pick up the beauty of this design but luckily I had taken some pictures on my phone that show off the details perfectly! I am in love! and I think I may just have to order the dress!
