Polish Party - Inspired by a PP member

So this months Polish Party theme was voted for by the group and ended up being 'Inspired by another PP member' which I was super excited about having as my first theme.

I searched through everyone blogs and found the mani that inspired me most (which was so hard as there was loads of amazing designs!) and I chose this stamped mani from the amazing Fundamentally Flawless which was actually a previous Polish Party mani!

Flower and Stud Nails

Last post for the day is some nails that I did a few weeks ago and posted on instagram. They are these super cute flower and stud nails using a new Rimmel polish that I got in 711 Punk Rock.

Minnie Mouse Cake

Hey guys so I know I hadn't posted in ages until I posted some nails just now (or that my posting has been very willy nilly), but its been due to the fact I went home for easter and couldn't carry my laptop and camera home.

I am going to sit down this weekend and re-arrange my page tabs for separate baking and nail sections after some feedback from fellow bloggers suggested this would be a good method. AND hopefully this will then lead to me having specific posting days for both nail and baking posts.

But for today you will have to have 3 posts… I know a lot, but I may not be able to post again for a while, while I sort out my page.

This is a Minnie Mouse cake my Mum and I created for a 1st birthday.

There will not be a recipe for this, but I will explain how we decorated the cake.

This Morning Inspired Nails

This morning, funnily enough, I was watching 'This Morning' and noticed the wall paper that they had in the background. Straight away as a nail polish lover I started imaging it on nails and decided to start creating it.

Easter Nails Take 2

Well after my nail fail that I posted yesterday I painted my nails a plain all over colour of Models Own Blueberry Muffin from their scented polish collection, but after walking around a zoo all day (had a great time in the sun, love a good zoo) I hated how plain they were!

So this morning when I woke up super early I decided to add some details too them!

I was inspired by a recent post by Dahlia Nails, and I just tweaked it and added my own touch to it.

Easter Nail Fail...

So I said in my last post that I was going to post tonight with my next set of Easter nails.... But unfortunately I messed up so there will be no nail pictures today. Or at least not the ones I had in mind. :(

Basically I created these bunny decals and was super excited to use them!

But sadly I let them set for too long so they wouldn't bend to the shape of my nails! 

I am going to do some other nails for tomorrow but don't know that they will be as interesting! 

Oops!

Easter Nails Take 1

So today I am posting my first set of Easter nails... I am really disappointed with how the picture turned out as I didn't have a camera at uni with me so I have had to take the picture on my phone!

But I created these nails using mostly colours from Models Own.

I started with a base of the models own Hyper Gel in White. And used a sponge to create a pastel gradient with their Fruit Pastel Scented polishes in Blueberry and Strawberry Tart.

Then using a striping brush I created the details and added studs that I purchased from eBay a while ago.

I promise that the nails look a whole lot better in person! And I will be posting another set of nails on Saturday night!
